I haven’t been feeling well this week, so I made-do for some of the photos… Thank goodness for the weekend!
Flare – This is not my typical image, but as I said, I’ve been at a bit of a loss as to what to photograph this week, so I thought I would try a fun, vibrant, star-burst image.
Contours and curlicues – This is part of a thriving hydrangea bush growing in our garden. I love the way the light falls on only certain parts of the flowers, creating complex layers of intertwined shadows and highlights.
Hidden details – I created a similar image last week (using my phone). I found the process to be fun and relatively easy, so I decided to try it again.
Autumn potpourri – The pattern created by these leaves caught my eye – I love the jumbled design created by the repeated branch-network of veins.
Fizzz – While having lunch at Irene Dairy Farm yesterday (more on that soon!) my eye was captured by the way the light travelled through my coke glass. I also love the complement between the colour of the coke and the piece of lime.
